Creative Writing Easter Camps 2019

About the courses

EASTER CAMPS FOR CHILDREN run for four days.

Each day we cover a main topic, for example the first day we create characters, which we will put into a story during the week, and students learn how to show character through action.

Day Two we learn how to lay out dialogue and punctuate it correctly.
Day three we focus on to how to plot and hook a reader from the start of the story.
Day four covers endings and editing a story.

Our aim for the week is for everyone to have fun writing and to achieve their individuals aims.

We do individual writing, pair work and group work. There are two small breaks every day. We take the children outside to eat their snacks and play supervised games. It is good for them to get fresh air between writing sessions. It is also a brilliant way to break the ice and make new friends.
