There is good news for those of you still considering applying for a place on my summer camps as I have extended my early booking deal until 30th June.
I’m looking forward to meeting my first group of children from 2nd – 6th July in Skerries Mills. Some of those attending are coming from Malahide and Swords, so if anyone is looking to share lifts from those areas, it should be easily arranged.
The adult fiction writing course, due to take place next week, has been postponed until 30th July – 3rd August. These dates seem to suit people better and, as it turns out, I’m happy to have next week off to work on my own writing and walk my doggie! I’m busy working on the second draft of my children’s book, Number 3 Hawthorn Road, and I hope to have it completed by the end of July. Ambitious, I know, but that works for me!
For those of you who like to plan ahead, the schedule for classes in September is now on my website and there is an early booking deal before 20th August. I am already receiving bookings, and it looks like it will be another busy Christmas term for me.
It is not long now until the West Cork Literary Festival beginning 9th July. I’ve wanted to attend this festival for the last five years and am hugely excited to be going. I hope it doesn’t disappoint as my expectations are VERY high. I’ll let you know how I get on! : )
